Fire teams are tackling a blaze at a recycling centre in Wandsworth for the second time in less than a week.

Eight fire engines are at the scene on Smugglers Way and are still trying to put out the fire.

Just five days ago London Fire Brigade were called to another fire at the south west London recycling centre.

Onlookers tweeted: "#Wandsworth #dump on fire again. Two times in one week."

More than 40 people were evacuated during the last blaze on July 21 which damaged a conveyor belt.

Water sprinklers helped to control the fire before crews arrived, allowing people to get out to safety.

The cause of both fires has not yet been revealed.
