A Tube traveller captured on camera the moment he was stared out by Ed Miliband - and his photo of the glaring ex-Labour leader is going viral.

Starstruck Rob Crego, 25, thought he was secretly snapping the Doncaster North MP last night, until he was fixed with a tough, icy stare as they reached Kentish Town.

His photo has now been shared hundreds of times on Twitter with the caption: “This guy on my train won't stop staring at me. He must follow me...”

“Give him a Bacon Sarnie,” suggested one tweeter.

Mr Crego, a clinical researcher from Finchley, admitted today: “He does look quite annoyed.”

He said: “I did think that, if he’d won the election, he probably wouldn’t be on the Tube.”
