A 31-year-old woman has been left fighting for life after a “serious” collision in Ealing.

Police were called around 12.15pm on Wednesday to the collision involving a car and a pedestrian on Lady Margaret Road, close to the junction with Shackleton Road in Southall.

Police, paramedics, firefighters and the London Air Ambulance all rushed to the scene.

Police said the pedestrian was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital where she remains in a “critical condition”.

Her family has been informed and is being supported by specialist officers.

The driver stopped at the scene and is helping police with their ongoing investigation. There has been no arrest.

Detectives from the Met’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are investigating the collision and have launched a witness appeal.

Any witnesses yet to speak with police are asked to call the SCIU on 020 8246 9855 quoting reference CAD 3222/25May.
