Dinosaurs brought to life after dark at the Natural History Museum

Michael Clarke19 March 2016

This month Londoners will be invited to explore the Natural History Museum after dark in a dinosaur-themed exhibition.

The show is part of the popular ’Lates’ series, which sees the museum open its doors until 10pm to visitors over the age of 18 to enjoy the exhibits alongside music and drinks.

As part of the night-time March series visitors will be able to discover the process of reconstructing a dinosaur, from unearthing bones to creating life-like skin.

Kate Rolfe, Head of Visitor Events at the Natural History Museum, said: “It is an alternative Friday night out like nothing else.”

“There is something about being here after dark. It is something a little bit different for everybody.”

The museum will also screen the 1993 hit Jurassic Park after experts discuss what the movie got right and wrong about discovering dinosaurs.

The late night series that is open to the public runs once every month.

This month’s late event will take place on Friday March 25 and tickets are now on sale.
