A 10 metre-squared storage cupboard in Earls Court has been put on the market for more than £200,000.

The second-floor property, dubbed “quirky” by the estate agents, is believed to have been a former maid’s storage cupboard in the Georgian townhouse.

It has one main room with just enough space for a collapsible double bed and an entrance area with a kitchenette opposite a small bathroom.

On the agent’s website, the “small but perfectly formed” property is described as a “one of the most functional and stylish apartments in central London”.

Squeeze: The flat is just over 10 squared metres

The property has been listed for a staggering £225,000.

It is owned by Ian Hogarth of Hogarth Architects – a London-based firm specialising in residential projects.
