The man, believed to be in his mid-30s, was chased by a group of men and women after a “minor argument” in a shop in Hammersmith.

He had been fighting for his life after being knifed in Fulham Palace Road, just before 10am, but is now in a stable condition.

The force said 20 men and 15 women, aged between 16 and 22, were released under investigation on December 31.
