Police have warned members of the public to be “vigilant” after three lone women were attacked on Hampstead Heath.

The women were all assaulted on Parliament Hill, with at least two of the attacks motivated by robbery, according to detectives.

The first incident happened at 9.50pm on Wednesday and the other two happened between 11pm and 11.30pm on Saturday.

A Scotland Yard spokeswoman said: “The suspect is described as a white male, 16-20 years-old, of average height and slim build.

“He is clean shaven with dark collar length hair. On each occasion he has been riding a pedal cycle.

“Police are appealing for any information that may assist in identifying the man responsible for these attacks, or anybody who may have seen the suspect acting suspiciously earlier in the evening.

“The community are asked to remain vigilant if walking in this area at night, particularly lone females.”

Anyone who has information that can assist the investigation should contact Detectives at Holborn CID on 0208 733 5663 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
