A woman is in critical condition after a horror stabbing in Croydon.
Police rushed to Grenaby Avenue on Friday following reports of a disturbance at a residential address.
A 29-year-old woman was found at the scene with stab injuries. She was taken to a south London hospital where she is fighting for her life.
A second woman, aged 23, was treated for minor injuries.
A 22-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. He remains in custody at a south London police station.
A crime scene is in place and enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances.
The man arrested is known to the two women.
