A man has been taken to hospital after being attacked with a knife in west London.

The man, who is in his 30s, was knifed following reports of a fight in West Drayton on Wednesday afternoon.

He was found with a stab wound to the hand in Sipson Road and taken to a west London hospital, where his condition was not thought to be life-changing.

A witness told Get West London she heard people shouting in the street.

"I just looked out, the police came and I saw a man who was bleeding," she said.

"His hands were held up and were bloody so it looked like they had been stabbed."

Police arrived at about 3.45pm and arrested three men and a woman on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and possession of an offensive weapon.

A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police said enquiries were ongoing.
