Two men have been arrested on suspicion of GBH after a woman was found with critical injuries in a street in south west London.

The woman, 41, was found lying in Fawcett Close, Wandsworth after London Ambulance Service medics alerted police at 9.25pm last night.

She was rushed to hospital and is in a critical but stable condition.

She had suffered serious head injuries.

Two men aged 55 and 53 have been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.

They are being held at a west London police station.
