A man was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after an early morning knife attack near a Tube station in north London.

The victim, 24, was found with stab wounds in Langham Road, close to Turnpike Lane station, at about 8.30am on Sunday.

London’s Air Ambulance landed on nearby Ducketts Common, off Green Lanes, before flying the man to an east London hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.

A second man, also 24, was found at the scene with minor injuries but did not require hospital treatment.

Detectives are investigating and have urged anyone who can help their investigation to get in touch.

They have not made any arrests.
