Former X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos was arrested on suspicion of supplying cocaine today.
The 24-year-old was arrested after attending a central-London police station with her solicitor by appointment.
The arrest comes after Tulisa was recorded allegedly arranging for an undercover reporter to buy cocaine from her friend musician Mike GLC, who was also arrested after attending a police station today.
The Sun reported that Tulisa, who previously claimed she is a role model for young fans, arranged for her friend to supply half an ounce of Class A drug cocaine.
She was asked by the undercover reporter if she would be able to supply drugs to which she allegedly replied: "Half my phone book sells it. Of course I can get it for you." She added: "Half the guys I know are drug dealers. One’s a massive cocaine dealer. He’s my best friend. He’s a gangster – he’s my gangster."
The N-Dubz star also reportedly offered to supply the reporter with cannabis although she specifically says she does not use cocaine.
A Scotland Yard spokesman said: “We arrested two people today by appointment on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a Class A drug.
“They are a 24-year-old woman and a man aged 35. They are currently in custody at a central-London police station.”
