Three men were today arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was found collapsed on a street in west London.

The trio, who are aged 20, 26 and 29, were held by detectives investigating the 41-year-old man's death in Southall on Sunday.

Police were called to Clarence Street just before midnight yesterday after reports of an injured man who had collapsed.

He was taken to hospital by paramedics from the London Ambulance Service but was pronounced dead in hospital about an hour later.

His next of kin have been told but his name has not yet been released by police, a spokesman for Scotland Yard said today.

Detectives from the Met's Homicide and Major Crime Command are investigating.

Anyone with information can contact police on 0207 230 9375 or speak to Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
