Two teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of right-wing terrorism offences in raids at two addresses in north west London.

Scotland Yard said detectives from the Met’s Counter Terrorism Command were holding the 18-year-old man and 16-year-old boy under section 41 of the Terrorism Act 2000.

The pair were arrested at separate addresses at around 5.10am on Friday.

“As part of the investigation, search warrants are being executed at the two addresses," a police statement said.

“The teenagers have been taken into custody at a south London police station.”

It is understood the raids were intelligence-led and the arrests were right-wing related.
