A teenager has been arrested over an attack on a man who asked three fellow night bus passengers to stop repeatedly pushing the bell.

The victim, 39, had a tooth knocked out and suffered head and upper body injuries on the N25 on 30 December near Manor Park.

After an appeal in Friday’s Evening Standard, police arrested a 17-year-old boy the following morning on suspicion of assault.

He was bailed pending further inquiries and two young men are still sought over the attack.
