A teenager has been charged with murder after a man was stabbed to death at a Burger King restaurant in north London, Scotland Yard said tonight.

Pelivan Zekaj, 23, died following a disturbance at the fast-food outlet in Wood Green shopping centre on Thursday October 4.

Daniel Lewis, 19, of Barking, east London, was charged today with murder and remanded in custody, police said. He will appear at Thames Magistrates' Court in east London tomorrow.

Mr Zekaj died from a stab wound to the chest.
