A man in his 20s is fighting for his life in hospital after a daylight stabbing in west London.

Police scrambled to Shepherd's Bush at around 3.30pm after receiving reports of a stabbing in Becklow Gardens.

A man in his 20s was found with a stab injury and was rushed to hospital, where he remains in critical condition.

A police spokeswoman said: “Police were called by the London Ambulance at 3.32pm on Thursday, June 13 to reports of a man stabbed on Becklow Gardens, W12.

“Officers and London’s Air Ambulance attended. The man, who is believed to be aged 20, was taken to a central London hospital. He remains in a critical condition.”

No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.

Any witnesses or anyone with information is asked to call police on 101.
