Police are warning members of the public to not approach a convicted robber who absconded from a mental health facility.

Duncan Stewart, 33, was last seen on October 15 running away on foot from Lambeth Hospital, in Landor Road, Brixton.

Police said he is known to have links to the Croydon area.

Stewart is serving a prison sentence for robbery.

A statement from the Met said: “The public are advised not to approach Stewart directly, but if they know his whereabouts to call 999.”

Alternatively, anyone with information can call 07785 774447 or to remain anonymous call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
