Police have uncovered a cannabis farm with 3ft high plants on a site owned by Legoland.

A spokesman for Legoland said the discovery was made in a derelict cottage just outside the boundary of the children's theme park in Windsor.

According to The Sun, around 50 marijuana plants were found growing in the cottage.

The newspaper quoted a source saying the plants were around 3ft high.

They added: "The bungalow was set up with lights and watering gear. It's not a few plants, it's a professional farm."

Legoland said the cottage was inaccessible to the public and appears to have been accessed via Crown Estate land which is owned by the Queen.

A Thames Valley Police spokesman said officers were called to the cottage at around 11.15am on Monday.

He said a 40-year-old man from Windsor and a 34-year-old man from Burnham, near Slough, have been arrested on suspicion of producing a class B drug.

They have been bailed until later this month.
