Police release CCTV pictures of 17 people wanted in connection with string of crimes across London's transport network

These 17 people are wanted in connection with a string of alleged crimes across London's transport network.

Police released CCTV images of the suspects in relation to ongoing investigations into a number of reported incidents in the capital.

Ten of the suspects are wanted in connection with alleged sex assaults, with others wanted for other reports of offences including violence, criminal damage and public order, according to the Met.

Scotland Yard launched an appeals gallery as part of the hunt for the suspects after the incidents which happened across London.

Chief Superintendent Matt Bell said: "We need the public's assistance to identify offenders and we are making this easier for them through the provision of an on-line gallery of CCTV images.

"I urge the public to regularly view this gallery. If they have any information please report it to us so we can trace and arrest offenders who commit crime on London's transport network."
