Disgraced entertainer Rolf Harris has been quizzed by police after four new women came forward accusing him of sexual assault.

Harris, 84, below, who was jailed for five years and nine months for sex offences, was questioned over two days by officers from the Met’s Operation Yewtree at a police station near his Stafford prison.

Harris was convicted in July last year of a string of indecent assaults on young women and girls.

Last month it emerged that four new alleged victims of Harris are seeking compensation from him. A law firm which represents 168 victims of Jimmy Savile said it was pursuing claims of damages on behalf of eight women, including the four who gave evidence against him in his trial.

Harris could lose a significant amount of his £11million fortune if all those seeking compensation payouts - which could top £70,000 each - are successful.

Harris’ youngest victim was only seven or eight years old when she was molested by the entertainer after asking for his autograph.

His daughter’s childhood friend was also abused by the star from the age of 13.
