Police are investigating an ‘unexplained death’ after a man’s body was at a home in south west London.

Officers from Surrey Police were called to a concern for safety in Rushmere Court, The Avenue, Worcester Park at 6.50am on Friday morning.

While in attendance at an address, police made the discovery of a man’s body and officers said the death was ‘unexplained’.

A post-mortem examination took place earlier today but proved inconclusive and further tests will be carried out in due course.

A 32-year-old man from Worcester Park was arrested in connection with the death but has been released on bail until September 29 while police continue to investigate.

Anyone with information should call Surrey Police on 101, quoting crime reference number 45150074597, of Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
