Police are investigating after a woman reported being raped in Muswell Hill in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The woman called police to say that she was raped at around 2.30am on Sunday, August 23.

Detectives taped off a wooded area near Park Road, in Muswell Hill, and a large section of pavement along Muswell Hill has also been cordoned off.

Officers from the Sexual Offences, Exploitation and Child Abuse Command are investigating the alleged rape.

No arrests have yet been made.

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101.
