Police are searching for a thief who posed as a Good Samaritan before stealing a woman's phone while she was suffering a seizure.

The woman, in her twenties, suffered the seizure outside Selly Oak station in Birmingham around 12pm on February 17.

But a passer-by who rushed to her aid took the phone from the victim's pocket and put it in her own.

The victim was taken to hospital by ambulance.
