Police are hunting a pervert who groped a young woman on the top deck of a bus in north London.

The 24-year-old victim was sat in front of the man before she was sexually assaulted near Islington Green, police said

The woman turned to challenge the suspect but he had quickly fled the route 341 bus.

Police have released an image of a man they want to track down following the alleged sexual assault at 5pm on Sunday, November 6.

An investigation was launched by detectives from the Met’s roads and transport policing command.

No arrests have been made.

The suspect is described as a white man, aged in his late 40s with greying hair. He wore dark clothing, believed to be a suit.

Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Constable Michael Halifax via 101 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111
