Police today released two images of football fans wanted in connection with violence before Arsenal’s Champions League clash with Napoli earlier this year.

Around 30 Napoli fans went on a pre-match rampage at a Highbury restaurant and put one person in hospital ahead of the Emirates Stadium fixture on Tuesday, October 1.

The Italian mob smashed a window and threw chairs at Piebury Corner on Holloway Road, which left one 48-year-old Arsenal fan needing 12 stitches to his head.

Officers from Islington have released the images of two men and would like to speak to anyone who can help with their enquiries.

One 42-year-old man has been charged with grievous bodily harm and violent disorder following the unrest. Call police on 020 7421 0298 with information.
