Two men have been arrested by murder squad detectives investigating the disappearance of a married Heathrow hotel housekeeper.
Pardeep Kaur, 30, was captured on CCTV walking down Harlington High Street, just north of the airport, at 4pm on Sunday.
Mrs Kaur, who is of Indian origin, was reported missing by a relative at 8pm the following day, having failed to turn up for work.
Officers from the Met’s homicide and major crime command have now taken over the investigation as police say they are “extremely concerned for her welfare”.
Two men, aged 30 and 31, were arrested on suspicion of murder on Wednesday. They are being questioned at a west London police station.
At the time of her last sighting, Mrs Kaur who is 5ft 4ins, was wearing a grey hooded jumper and blue jeans with her long hair tied up in a clip.
Detective Chief Inspector Mark Lawson said: “Our enquiries have led us to make these two arrests but until we have evidence to the contrary, we continue to treat Mrs Kaur as a missing person.
“We are extremely concerned for her welfare as her disappearance is completely out of character.
“If you think you have seen Pardeep since her disappearance on Sunday, or have any information about her whereabouts, please get in touch with police as soon as possible.”
