Gedel has been held in custody overnight and is due to appear at Barkingside magistrates court today to face the charges for the first time.

Mr Badzak had left home to buy a bagel and an orange juice for his mother when he was attacked in Willesden Lane, Kilburn, at around 5.40pm.

His mother, former Conservative Party activist Jasna Badzak, appealed directly to Prime Minister Boris Johnson for help catching those responsible for her son’s death.
