Man 'who looks like Justin Bieber' sought over alleged phone theft

Police are seeking a man who looks like Justin Bieber in connection with a theft.

Devon and Cornwall Police have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to after the alleged theft of a £700 mobile phone from a shop in Plymouth.

The real Justin Bieber, 22, was on tour in Tokyo promoting his new album Purpose when the theft was reported to have occurred.

A gold-coloured iPhone 6S was reportedly taken from the Vodafone store in New George Street at about 4.35pm on December 5.

The CCTV image released by police shows a man wearing a baseball cap, brown jacket and light jeans.

A spokesman for the police force said: “Officers are keen to identify the man pictured and anyone who recognises him is asked to contact police on 101.”
