A man suffered a puncture wound to his leg after being punched by a stranger on Tube platform.
The 36-year-old victim was waiting on the northbound Jubilee line platform at Green Park station when another man sat next to him.
The man allegedly punched him in the leg and the victim challenged him, before the attacker boarded a train.
The victim suffered a puncture wound during the attack, which happened at about 9pm on March 8.
British Transport Police have today released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to about the assault.
Detective Constable Denis Mahoney said: “Fortunately the victim was not seriously injured, but this was an unnecessary attack.
“We are committed to ensuring the Tube network remains a safe place for everyone and have a zero tolerance approach to all forms of violence.
“Having studied CCTV from the station of the alleged assault, I am today issuing an image of a man who I think has information about what happened. I would like him to come forward and speak to us.”
