Man suffers head injuries in Cricklewood street fight

A man has been hospitalised with serious head injuries after a street fight in Cricklewood in the early hours of Wednesday.

Police were forced to break up a large group of people fighting in the street outside Cricklewood Bus Garage in Edgware Road at 1.30am.

A 35-year-old man sustained head injuries and was taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service where his condition was assessed as non-life changing.

A 34-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and was taken into custody.

Medical supplies were seen in the street with Parkway restaurant cordoned off by police.

The road was closed while officers carried out investigations but has now been reopened.
