A man has been rushed to hospital with serious injuries after he was repeatedly knifed at a house in south-east London.

Scotland Yard said a man was found with multiple stab wounds in Birkhall Road, Catford, at around 7am this morning.

He was taken to a hospital in south London where he remains in a serious condition.

A man was arrested nearby on suspicion of attempted murder and is being treated at a hospital for minor injuries.

A Met Police spokesman said: “It is believed that the two men are known to each other.

“We are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.

“A number of crime scenes are in place while officers deal with the incident.”
