A 27-year-old woman has been stabbed to death in a suspected domestic killing.

Police and paramedics were called at around 3pm yesterday to Nigel Road in Forest Gate, east London, and the victim was taken to hospital, but she died just over five hours later.

Scotland Yard said officers believe they know who she is and are looking for her relatives.

A 28-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is being questioned at a police station in east London.
