Police have arrested a man after rapper Young Spray was stabbed at a star-studded grime music awards event.
Leon Riviere, 37, was knifed repeatedly while in a backstage dressing room at the Apollo in Hammersmith during the GRM Daily Rated Awards.
Horrifying footage showed the rapper, known as Young Spray, in a pool of blood while slumped against the wall after the attack on September 4.
Scotland Yard said on Wednesday that officers had arrested a 37-year-old man on suspicion of GBH in connection with the attack.
He remains in custody at a south London police station after his arrest, a police spokesman said.
Mr Riviere, who has now been discharged from hospital, posted a picture of himself in a hospital bed nearly two weeks after the attack.
Describing the stabbing as "just another day at the office", he added: "Just here resting in peace.
"Big up everyone sending their well wishes... Scars will heal."
Stars including Stormzy made an appearance at the GRM Daily Rated Award, alongside Chip and Big Narstie and Krept and Konan.
Police say an investigation into the attack continues.
