A murder investigation has been launched after a man from London was fatally stabbed in a residential street in Hertfordshire.

The victim, in his twenties, was found with stab wounds close to a primary school in Walsingham Way, London Colney, at about 7.15pm last night.

He was taken to hospital where he later died from his injuries.

There have been no arrests.

A Hertfordshire police spokesman said: “Walsingham Way is currently closed while officers investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.”

Witnesses or anyone with information that could help the investigation are asked to contact police by calling 101.
