Masked men armed with knives and baseball bats stabbed a man during a terrifying raid at his north London home.

The four men forced their way into a flat in Tubbs Road, Harlesden, and then knifed the 45-year-old.

Before police arrived, the balaclava-clad gang, who were carrying a cricket bat along with their other weapons, fled over a garden wall at the back of the property.

The men, who were all black and spoke with London accents, were then seen running towards Station Parade.

Paramedics were called out to the man's home and he was taken to a north London hospital with stab wounds.

Since the incident, which happened at 8.50pm on May 11, the man has been discharged.

Anyone with information should call Wembley CID on 020 8733 3737 or via 101. Alternatively, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
