Gang police are investigating after shots were fired at a car in north London.

Police were called to reports of a shooting in Armfield Road, Enfield, near the junction with Lancaster Road, at about 7.10pm on Friday.

A car was damaged but no one was injured, Scotland Yard said.

Part of the road was sealed off as officers examined the crime scene.

Officers from the Trident and Area Crime Command are investigating.
