Four men have been charged in connection to a smash and grab raid at a Louis Vuitton store in a west London shopping district.

A gang on scooters and another grey vehicle rammed their way through the door of the shop in Sloane Street, Kensington and Chelsea, at about 1.30am on Thursday.

They are alleged to have stolen a number of items, including some of the designer chain’s iconic handbags.

Alan Kelly, 20, of Finsbury Park, David Kelly, 30, of Finsbury Park, Michael Lewis, 28, of Rainham, and Daryl Salisbury, 24, of Islington, have all been charged with conspiracy to commit burglary.

Salisbury has also been charged with possession with intent to supply cannabis.

All four will appear in custody at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court.

A 24-year-old man was also arrested yesterday in connection to the incident. He has been bailed pending further enquiries.
