This is the brazen moment a burglar started dancing in the street before rushing into a Jewish jewellers to join his accomplices.

The masked gang used a circular saw to cut through security shutters and burst into Joseph’s Silver in Stamford Hill at 2am on Friday.

It was the second time in weeks the silversmith has been targeted.

Shocking CCTV shows one of the burglars dancing with excitement outside the store as his friend empties the items into a giant sack.

He then steps into the shop to help the others.

Smoke is released as part of the security system but it has little affect on the burglars who grab bowls and candlesticks before fleeing in a getaway car along the pavement.

The local volunteer security force Shomrim posted the CCTV on Twitter.

A Scotland Yard spokesman said officers were called to a report of a burglary at a shop on Stamford Hill, Hackney.

He said: “It is believed that the suspects parked up on the pavement outside of the property before forcing their way in and stealing a number of items.

“They then fled the scene in the same vehicle.

“Enquiries are ongoing; no arrests have been made.”
