A man is facing a string of sexual assault charges after allegedly harassing women at a South London park.

Met Police received a number of reports alleging that a man had sexually assaulted and harassed women in Camberwell and Ruskin Park, in Lambeth throughout Tuesday.

Officers and detectives went to the area and a man was identified and arrested the same day.

Chai Thomas-Manners, 28, of Basingdon Way, Camberwell has been charged on Thursday with eight counts of sexual assault by touching in relation to incidents on Tuesday, the Met said.

He also faces three counts of sexual assault dating back to April 27 and one count of production of cannabis.

Thomas-Manners will appear at Croydon Magistrates Court later on Thursday.
