Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was stabbed during a robbery in south London.
The victim was riding his moped down Lavender Road, Wandsworth, when he was approached by a group of men who attempted to steal his bike. The 19-year-old was stabbed four times before the suspects ran off towards York Gardens.
He was taken by London Ambulance Service to a south London hospital where he remains in a stable condition. His injuries are not life-threatening.
Detectives would like to speak with anyone who saw the stabbing which occurred at around 6pm on Friday near the Winstanley Estate, SW11.
The four male suspects are described as -
Suspect 1 is described as black, aged approximately 18 years, 5ft 11ins tall, with short afro hair and a gold capped tooth. He was wearing a black T-shirt.
Suspect 2 is described as a mixed race man, aged approximately 25-30 years, 5ft 10ins tall with shaved hair. He was wearing a dark blue top and shorts.
Suspect 3 is described as black, aged about 20 years, 5ft 9ins tall and wearing a white coloured top.
Suspect 4 is described as black, aged 18-22 years, 5ft 6ins tall, shaved hair and wearing a white top.
