Anti-social ‘neighbours from hell’ from Fulham threatened with jail

A mother whose refugee family trashed a £1.25 million rented house paid for by the taxpayer was told today she faces jail if her wayward children do not behave.

Manal Mahmoud signed a court order that means the family, who lived in Fulham, will be given a property by Hammersmith and Fulham council — but she could be jailed if anyone living there causes a nuisance.

West London county court heard the Palestinian family were branded a “family from hell” by neighbours after months of anti-social behaviour.

The driveway was smashed up, doors were broken and rubbish and furniture were dumped in the garden, the court was told.

Hammersmith and Fulham said they were “committed” to finding the family a home outside the borough.
