An 18-year-old was stabbed to death in broad daylight on Bank Holiday Monday.
The teen was found with knife injuries around 3.30pm on Monday in Chadd Green, Plaistow.
Police have launched a murder investigation, but no arrests have yet been made.
A spokesman said: An investigation has been launched following the death of a man in Newham.
“Police were called at around 1530hrs on Monday, 26 August, to a critically injured man in Chadd Green, E13.
“Officers attended along with London Ambulance Service and found a man suffering stab injuries.
“The man, believed to be 18 years old, was pronounced dead at the scene at 1633hrs.
“Next of kin have been informed. A post-mortem examination and formal identification will be arranged in due course.
“An urgent investigation has been launched. There has been no arrest at this early stage.”
