Top Gear's Matt Le Blanc crashes couple's wedding with noisy stunt outside St Paul's

Matt Le Blanc crashed a couple's big day during Top Gear filming at London landmarks.

The self-styled petrolhead, 48, stunned a couple as he was filmed with another driver in a stunt car by St Paul's Cathedral this morning.

Speeding over cobbled streets at the edge of the City, the Ford Mustang was thrown into a handbrake turn.

As the couple and their wedding party looked on in shock from the steps of St Paul's, it was then hurled into another huge skid.

The stunt left billows of smoke from the car's tyres and into the spring morning air.

Footage of the incident was posted on social media by West Bromwich Albion's head of retail Paul Bradbury, who wrote: "filming at St Paul's with @BBC_TopGear and @Matt_LeBlanc Great stuff."

But the groom looked less impressed as the former Friends star roared into town on his big day.

Footage from the incident showed him looking incredulous with open arms as he stood on the steps of St Paul's with his new bride.

Earlier, Le Blanc and the rest of the Top Gear crew were seen filming on the iconic Tower Bridge.

The BBC show's official Twitter account shared a picture of the presenter leaning out of the car's window for a quick selfie, along with the caption: "Snapped: @Matt_LeBlanc and @KBlock43 spotted on London's iconic Tower Bridge with the 845bhp, 4WD Hoonicorn Mustang".

Le Blanc was announced as a presenter alongside others including Chris Evans and Eddie Jordan last month ahead of the show’s return.

The programme’s former presenters, Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May left the show last year after a “fracas” involving producer Oisin Tymon.
