50 Shades follow-up will cut down on sex

The author of erotic hit trilogy Fifty Shades of Grey has revealed she will be holding back from sex in her next novel.

EL James said: “It won’t be nearly so raunchy and I will probably use another name.”

The first novel of her hit trilogy, set to come out as a film next year, sold more than six million copies in the UK and was voted book of the year at the National Book Awards.

She has also said that although new love stories are planned, she is unlikely to write about Fifty Shades stars Ana and Christian

“Never say never,” she said, “but they’re on the back burner at the moment as I have a few other stories to tell first.”
