The hustle and bustle of life can sometimes lead to sleepless nights. After a busy day, it can be hard to switch our brains off long enough to get a restful sleep.

In the UK, one third of adults sleep just five to six hours per night, according to the Great British Bedtime Report. This is significantly less than the recommended seven to eight hours per night adults need to be mentally and physically refreshed.

Sleep is essential to living. When we don’t sleep, we can feel tired and irritable – and if we go too many nights without sleeping this can lead to illness, weight gain, inability to make decisions and can lead to serious health problems.

To help revive your sleep health, consider visiting one of the below sleep retreats in 2020.

Available from January 17 to 19, the retreat is £1,040 per person for two night stay including breakfast, a three course lunch and two three-course dinners. lucknampark.co.uk
