Sitting pretty on a rural Northumberland farm, you can choose from two luxe cabins for this week’s Cool Stay of the Week.

Crofter’s Cabin is ideal for couples and sits on its own piece of farmland surrounded by hazel wood picket fencing. Pets are welcome here and the sunshine hits the veranda perfectly during the day which is also a great place to stargaze come nightfall.

Inside, Crofter's Cabin is decked out with plenty of artistic flair, making use of reclaimed wood and hand-picked fittings. There's a statement leather chair in the living room that sits by the fireplace, as well as some stunningly crafted kitchen units. The bedroom at Crofter's Cabin is super-comfy thanks to a chunky iron bed. There's also a stylish, modern bathroom and complimentary toiletries from The White Company, as well as a nice fluffy set of Christy bathrobes.

The other option is Saddler's Cabin, a log cabin inspired by the owner's love for horses and offers a unique, cosy, and comfy spot for couples to relax and unwind. The Cabin sits in a grassy area that's overlooked by evergreen trees. To enter, make your way up the wood chip path that takes you through fruit trees and a rose arch. As you arrive at the cabin you're presented with two rocking chairs that sit on the shaded veranda and the wood-fired hot tub that offers you a fab spot to relax after a day out and about.

The living space in Saddler’s Cabin has a big comfy leather sofa and a cool arm chair that both sit around the wood burning stove, which makes cosy evenings a joy. The kitchen is also nicely equipped and there's a quaint little dining area for two. The romantic bedroom has a big four poster bed that's been festooned with greenery. There are sheepskin rugs available, too.

Kitchens at both cabins are stocked with tea and ingredients for s’mores as well as essentials like milk, butter and oil. Guests are also handed a welcome hamper on arrival.

Both cabins sit on Old Felton Farm, which is located in Northumberland. The nearby coastline is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and offers up 40 miles of unspoilt beaches. Under a mile from your door is the River Coquet, which meanders through the quaint village of Felton. You can walk to Felton through neighbouring farmland via a public footpath that takes you past some delightful local pubs and eateries.
