How to make the most of a small space the Scandi-way

When we came across this flat on entrancemakleri.se (our favourite Swedish estate agent) we seriously considered relocating to Sweden.

Believe it or not, this spacious looking home is actually only 53 sq. metres, but thanks to the light colour palette and open plan layout, it feels like a much bigger home.

Painting the walls and floors white really adds to the sense of space, a great trick for anyone trying to make a small flat appear larger.

Our favourite part of this property must be the serene kitchen. With its muted grey cupboards and warm pinky/grey marble. Removing the top cupboards has become very popular in Scandinavia in recent years, and it really creates a clean and sleek looking kitchen.

To elevate the look, several green plants have been added throughout the home. Plants and fresh flowers are perfect for nailing those finishing touches.

Don't be afraid to go for larger plants even if your space is small, as this will look more pleasing to the eye. Plus its a great way of creating an indoor oasis.
