Feast of automotive art at Alexandra Palace

Classic & Sports Car Show will be about more than just the cars.

The second annual Classic & Sports Car Show will take place at Alexandra Palace from 28-30 October. And the attractions will include more than just cars.

In addition to the priceless vehicles on display, there’ll be a wide array of automobile art. This will include paintings by Tim Layzell, creator of the publicity poster for the event, and limited-edition prints by Ella Freire – as well as a special piece to mark the 50th anniversary of the Lamborghini Miura.

Meanwhile, companies exhibiting within the artwork category include:

• Artistry of Aluminium: Handmade metalwork reliefs

• Unique and Limited: Moments from motorsport history recreated using photography, computer graphics and 3D illustration

• Silent Autos Diecast Model Cars: Handmade replicas of the greatest classics

• Triple Espresso: T-shirts, paintings and prints inspired by the world of motoring

• Kikki H: Motorsport stories told through art

‘Visitors are sure to find something of interest,’ said James Elliott of Classic & Sports Car. ’The worlds of art and motoring complement each other beautifully.’
