Japan’s seven-stared Michelin veteran, Murata opened Tokimeitē on Conduit Street last year. As with his restaurants in Kyoto and Tokyo he continues to bring a contemporary Japanese style of cooking to Tokimete, with his signature dish being Wagyu with yuzu sesame sauce topped with truffle.

Pic is known for being the only French female chef to earn three Michelin stars. Having started her career in her family’s restaurant in south-east France, she now has restaurants in Paris and Lausanne. Pic has teamed up with the Four Seasons Hotel at Ten Trinity Square to launch her first London restaurant, opening in December.

Paris’s celebrated foodie couple Greg Marchand and his wife, Marie, launched Frenchie in Covent Garden — their first restaurant outside of Paris — last February. It remains one of London’s hottest restaurants and tables are hard won. Their cuisine is Parisian in style with influences from New York, Hong Kong and London.

Emma Bengtsson

Bengtsson, executive chef of the two Michelin-starred Aquavit New York, is masterminding the menu of its new London outpost located in the St James’s Market development on 1 Carlton Street, launching on 24 November. She’ll retain Aquavit’s trademark Nordic style but in a more relaxed setting than the Big Apple counterpart.
